Integrated Citizens Empowerment and Development Organization (ICEDO) is a non-profit, non-political and community-driven organization committed to promoting inclusive and sustainable development across Malawi.  Rooted in the principles of empowerment, accountability, and social justice, ICEDO envision a modern fully transformed and highly empowered Malawi, where all citizens enjoy equal opportunities, justice, dignity, and sustainable livelihood leading to a graduating from the status of a third world country and fully automated to joining a G20 cohort where all communities live in harmony under the umbrella of meaningful and impactful development across the religious, social, economic and geo-political divides.
In response to prevailing social, economic and development challenges affecting citizens –especially women, youth, and vulnerable populations -ICEDO believes that communities thrive when citizens are informed, included, and actively engaged in the development process.  ICEDO has position itself as a driver of transformative development aligned with Malawi’s long –term aspirations as articulated in Malawi 2063 (MW2063) and global commitments under the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Our mission is to restore hope among Malawians that have been affected by political man-made poverty, abuse, violence, disease and other natural calamities through community empowerment to become agents of change .
